The Office of the Assessor maintains assessment records of real and personal property in the County of Los Angeles. Many of these records are available for sale. The data is available in the form of CD-ROM, DVD, hardcopy, and on-line access. The Office of the Assessor also offers a GIS Tax Parcel Base Map.

If you would like information over the phone such as a property's assessed value, square footage, owner's name, etc., please call our General Information line at (213) 974-3211 (when prompted, press 6 for the Assessor), or you may also call the Assessor's Public Counter at (213) 974-3412.

Limited information for individual parcels is freely available from the Assessor’s Property Maps & Data website. More extensive information for individual parcels is freely available in person by visiting any of the Assessor’s public service counters. A nominal fee may be charged for hardcopies of the information.
