About My 2011 Decline-in-Value Notice
If you received a NOTICE OF REVIEW OF 2011 ASSESSED VALUE or NOTICE OF 2011 ASSESSED VALUE CHANGE, and you are satisfied with the results of your decline-in-value review, no further action is necessary. Your 2011-2012 taxes will be based on the 2011 ASSESSED VALUE indicated on the notice.
If you believe the market value of your property on January 01, 2011, is less than the 2011 ASSESSED VALUE indicated on the notice, you can file a
Decline-in-Value Review Application
with the Assessor’s Office. Applications are accepted from June 01, 2011, through November 30, 2011.
To further protect your right of review for the current year, you may also file a formal decline-in-value appeal with the
Assessment Appeals Board
starting July 02, 2011, through November 30, 2011.
